| LYNNETTE PARSLEY EXECUTIVE PROFILE |
| Lynnette Parsley, from 1998 to 2001 held the position of Executive Director/Administrator of Elim Place, a 49-bed Alzheimer's facility located in Sanger, CA, 15 miles southeast of the Fresno/Clovis area, as well as the Supervisory Administrator over a 39-bed Assisted Living facility in northwest Fresno, Elim Gardens. Upon her arrival, Elim Place was experiencing a census crisis of 64%, which she diligently increased to 89% prior to her departure. Elim Gardens, a takeover property due to the prior ownership receiving multiple licensing violations, at startup, was experiencing an extremely low census of 46%. Lynnette immediately put into place the strategies she had developed for Elim Place, which resulted in a six-month turnaround in the property's census to 71%. Her responsibilities included: facility management, admissions, discharge and transfers to higher levels of care, overseeing a care staff of 40, all organizational human resource requirements, hiring/dismissal, training procedures, payroll & purchasing, meeting resident physical and psychological needs, menu planning, care plans, licensing liaison, documentation/resident files, budgeting, marketing, intergovernmental compliance. Also, overseeing business operations staff, maintenance personnel, kitchen and wait staff, resident transportation/drivers, housekeeping staff, activities director, outreach programs and family support group. Additional responsibilities consisted of working with physicians for ongoing care of the resident with all forms of dementia, daily monitoring for change in mental condition, physician appointments, resident medication compliance & administration, and networking through the Senior Living Network & Alzheimer's Foundation. It was through the successes she had experienced as the Administrator of Elim Place and Elim Gardens that she was sought out by her current employer. Lynnette's compassion for every resident in her charge, is easily recognized by the resident themselves as well as each of the decision making family members. As an example, upon her arrival to her current location, a 158-bed Fresno Assisted Living location, she was faced with a low census that was dropping like a lead brick due to a rate increase the month prior. The property's less-than -desireable southeast location presented its own set of challenges with shootings and other crime related activity well documented in the Fresno Bee. The turnover in staff was immense and the property's outlook for success was bleak. Still, in 18-months time, through a number of staffing challenges, which would include marketing personnel, an assisted living director, as well as, a scheduled surgery, Lynnette still managed to lead her Assisted Living Community census to an increase of 32%. Lynnette's comment of her own success rate, "this industry has been my life for 29 years which I'm certain has to come across to every resident and family member that I come in contact with". Lynnette's key instruction to her staff, "the building and the people inside is what will get a prospective resident and/or family member through the door. In 95% of all opportunities, I'm the cement. I will close the deal. " It's a tesitmony in of itself when an Administrator has her own Father-in-law residing in the same Assisted Living Community that she oversees. This one element provides her new marketing professional with the opportunity to boast, "Our Administrator's Father-in-law lives here, too." This has become a truly priceless selling point. An additional testament to Lynnette's professionalism with her staff is that over the two plus years in her current position, over eight highly skilled and dedicated former staff members have gradually followed her, ultimately to be hired again, by Lynnette, and prove themselves to be among the most dedicated and loyal staff. No favoritism is offered and none is taken. Among Lynnette's most recent accomplishments, was a call she received from a television Producer/Director from the area's local PBS Affiliate regarding their need for Professioanls in the Dementia & Alzheimer's industry to form a discussion panel for a special Valley Press programming being planned to follow a national program PBS had aired a week prior, "The Forgetting". Lynnette accepted the request, though appearing on Television was completely out of her comfort zone. Afterwards, Lynnette received a thank you gift from the station in the form of a copy of the program on VHS and a letter of gratitude from the CEO and the Producer for her willingness to step away from her comfort zone to help educate and inform their viewership, reaching a potential 850,000 homes. In October of 2004, The Windham, a Kisco Senior Living Community sought out the expertise of Lynnette as soon as they were made aware of a change of property management with her then current employer, Orchard Park in Clovis, CA. Since joining The Windham, Lynnette has been instrumental in stabilizing staff turnover, increasing Associate Satisfaction to 99% and Resident Satisfaction to 98.5% and increasing property census from 86% to 98%, regularly fluctuating between 98% - 100% with a growing waiting list. Along with creating an annual budget and operations plan, by introducing variable pricing, Lynnette increased The windham's NOI from 32% TO 45%. Prior to Lynnette taking on the role of Executive Director / Administrator for The Windham, she held the position of Executive Director of Orchard Park, and as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), she maintained the position of Assistant Administrator and Director of Health and Wellness for Elim Place. As she was developing her career, Lynnette worked for various companies such as; Orchard Park Assisted Living as Director of Nursing and Carrington Point Assisted Living as Lead Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA). Lynnette's family has been involved in the care of the elderly dating back as early as the 1940's, beginning with her great grand parents, which continued when her grand father, the late Clarence Redding, founded his first Assisted Living facility, also located in Fresno, CA, Hope Manor located at 2201 Calaveras Street. Her grandmother, the late Eithel Redding, went on with Clarence to build additional Assisted Living facilities throughout the Central Valley to include sites in Merced, Turlock, Modesto, Sonora and one located in Palo Alto, CA, known as Pleasant Manor. Among the Fresno facilities were, New Hope Nursing Home located at 204 N Van Ness Avenue and Hope Manor Sanitarium located at the 1600 block of M Street across from the First Presbyterian Church parking lot. It was on the announcement on Clarence Redding's newest facility, Hope Manor, and during the 7th Annual Convention of the American Nursing Home Association that he was elected Second Vice President of the Association. In addition to her great grand parents and grand parents legacy, her mother Faith, married to business partner, Ray Stazzoni, together own four assisted living and alzheimer's facilities in Santa Barbara & Santa Monica. Each location having an assisted living and alzheimer's facility enables Mr. & Mrs. Stazzoni to better serve the needs of their clients and their families. The facilities, Villa Rose and Bella Mar in Santa Barbara and Villa Bella & Ocean Villa located in Santa Monica are well revered within their respective communities as extremely well run facilities and home to many prominent and influential residents. The Stazzoni's have been documented by many industry magazines and associations and have had the honor to visit with the former President and First Lady, Ronald & Nancy Reagan. Mr Stazzoni has been honored with 'Administrator of the Year of California'. With the added professional guidance from family members within the Senior Care industry, as active consultants, paired with the familiy's combined and historic knowledge within the assisted living and alzheimer's industries adds an immediate value to the benefits to be received by any senior care facility managed, operated, consulted and/or under the immediate directon of Lynnette Parsley.
